Jason Halperin, MD, MPH, FIDSA
Physician
From a young age, I felt a strong calling to support those affected by HIV. Sadly, I lost a dear family friend to the HIV epidemic, and his memory has always inspired me. This passion led me to become involved with ACT-UP in college, where I gained a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding HIV. Driven by this commitment, I pursued a career in infectious diseases. Now, as a physician in this field, I have the privilege of helping people with HIV lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
Working at DAP Health aligns perfectly with my mission. My dedication to addressing health disparities and supporting those with HIV is mirrored by our team's collective efforts. We offer a range of services, from HIV prevention and HCV treatment to gender-affirming care and medication-assisted therapy for opiate use. It's truly rewarding to be part of a team that prioritizes patient dignity and delivers top-notch care every day.
FUN FACT
I have two incredible kids and love to go surfing and hiking with them.
