Welcome to DAP Health's Training Opportunities
DAP Health, an FQHC with a culturally diverse population, offers a variety of outpatient clinical experiences in both the primary care and mental health clinics. Through our affiliation with many training programs, Nurse Practitioners, medical students, Interns, Residents and Fellows can complete externships and enrich their knowledge in LGBTQ, HIV, Infectious Disease, Primary Care and Behavioral Medicine.
“As the Chief Medical Officer, I am pleased that DAP Health is able to offer a variety of clinical training opportunities for future physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses. With our focus on culturally competent care for those suffering from HIV, for those who are part of the LGBTQ community, and for those who are most vulnerable, Clinicians can complete externships at DAP Health, with the added benefit of an FQHC environment. Please reach out to DAP Health if this is an area of interest.” -
David Morris, MD, Chief Medical Officer, AAHIVS
