Carolyn Caldwell is president and chief executive officer of St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach since June 2017.
Caldwell has 20 years of executive hospital leadership and more than 30 years of health experience. Caldwell was Desert Regional Medical Center’s (Tenet) executive officer prior to joining St. Mary.
Additionally, Caldwell is an American College of Healthcare Executives fellow. She received a master’s in health care administration from Texas Women’s University and spent 12 years in clinical services, as well as a bachelor’s in zoology and chemistry.
