Women's Health & Prenatal Services
Our Women’s Health Program focuses on the whole women’s health. Our goal is to see you for your women’s health visit before you ever become pregnant to ensure you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
DAP Health has locations in San Diego and Riverside County to serve you. We have full-time, on-site OB-GYN doctors, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, and perinatal health workers who will see you for your prenatal care. One of our doctors or one of our on-call partners will also be the provider to deliver your baby, and after you deliver we will continue to see you and your newborn.
You will first meet with one of our perinatal health workers to prepare you for your first visit with your provider. Your first visit with a provider will be between the first 8-12 weeks of your pregnancy. At this visit, a limited ultrasound will be performed to view the baby’s heartbeat and confirm your due date. You will also be referred for a standard ultrasound to look carefully at the development of your baby between 18 and 22 weeks of your pregnancy.
At each future visit, your provider will answer your questions, examine you, and provide for all necessary tests. You will also have nutrition and health education visits with your perinatal health worker to talk about how you can stay healthy during your pregnancy. The following grid shows all the valuable services we offer to make sure you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
